Background Information :

School System basketball coaches have requested permission to host a basketball skills camp for the middle school basketball teams in the school system. Board approval is necessary for the coaches to receive the estimated salary supplements. The revenues and expenditures will be accounted for through the finance department of the school system. Funds will be submitted through the Central Office to be included in regular payroll as supplements for holding the instructional sports camps. All purchases, as well as the supplements, will follow Board policy. Board approval is required for the payment of salary supplements.

Staff Recommendation:

As proper procedures have been followed seeking permission to hold the above-noted instructional sports camps and payment of the related supplements, I recommend Board approval.
